Athletes Update #1 - 2/2/2010

Sports, Tryouts and More!

Hello Team members,

This is one of the first of many emails to come in regards to the Athletics of the Games. Please read the items carefully and let me know if you have any questions!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS for Volleyball and Basketball TRYOUTS

Saturday, April 24th

2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – VOLLEYBALL
3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – BASKETBALL
Glenbard South High School

BOWLING

If you register for doubles and do not have a partner, you will be asked to submit your best score for parings OR if you know who you want to bowl with please email me that information.

GOLF

If you register for a team (2 people) you will be asked to submit your handicap for parings OR if you know who you want to golf with please email me that information.

MEDICAL WAVIERS

ATHLETES: MEDICAL WAIVERS
Individuals who have donated or received a lifesaving organ or bone marrow for transplant on or before October 30, 2009 are eligible to compete in this year’s Games with medical approval from your physicians. Since the medical waiver may not be completed prior to March 30, 2010, the form waiver will be available to you at the end of March.

Athletes MUST provide a physician-signed medical wavier, which should be completed and mailed to me (address below) no later than June 15, 2010.
